Position Overview
The Account Manager role involves serving as the primary point of contact for Red Oak's clients, managing project delivery from scoping through final deliverables, and ensuring client needs are translated into actionable work for the data and analytics team. The position requires strong relationship management skills, an understanding of political data and targeting, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of experience in account management, political campaigns, or data consulting, with a proven ability to manage client expectations and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serves as the day-to-day lead for assigned client accounts — managing communication, setting expectations, and ensuring deliverables meet client needs and timelines.
- Scopes and manages project workflows from intake through delivery, coordinating across internal data and analytics teams.
- Translates client objectives into clear project requirements for the data team, ensuring alignment between what clients need and what gets built.
- Monitors project timelines and proactively identifies risks or bottlenecks, escalating issues before they impact delivery.
- Presents findings, reports, and data products to clients — communicating complex analytical work in clear, actionable terms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, political campaigns, or data consulting.
- Experience with R & Python programming.
- Excellent communication and time management skills (ability to work independently and with a group).
- A strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.

Salary: $75,000-$100,000 (based on candidate experience)
