Position Overview
Red Oak Strategic is seeking Cloud Engineers to support our consulting work as an analytics-focused AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner. This role requires a strong foundation in data storage, structures, and processes, along with experience working with databases, APIs, and both structured and unstructured data formats. The ideal candidate is proficient in writing production-level Python code, designing and building scalable data pipelines and applications beyond one-off scripting. Cloud Engineers will collaborate closely with our AWS Solutions Architects to deploy infrastructure and application-level solutions using AWS best practices. While experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus, a strong desire to learn and grow is just as important. Primary Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based applications using Python and AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and S3.
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS best practices, working closely with AWS Solutions Architects to implement secure and efficient architectures.
- Work with structured and unstructured data, integrating databases, APIs, and various data sources into modern analytics solutions.
- Enhance application quality and delivery velocity by deploying strong and modular code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges, continuously improving cloud-based data solutions and supporting client needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience Building advanced ETL and analytics pipelines in Python
- Knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, S3, Glue, ECS, Redshift, etc.
- Collaborative programming skills including git and version control, documentation, module and package design, and professional-level coding
- Strong communication skills and a strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

What We Offer
Salary: $70,000-$130,000 (Experience Dependent)
